    This is a for hair lengths from right above the shoulder to long down the back. Can included various type of layering techniques. Shampoo & style included.

    This is a traditional chin length bob or can be a modern swing bob of various lengths and layering styles. Shampoo & style included.

  • Pixie Cut

    This is for soft short cuts above the ear. Shampoo & style included.

  • Transformation or Extra Thick Cut

    $70+ / $75+
    This is for a major change or an extreme haircut to allow for extra time to ensure proper detailing. This also allows those with extra think hair extra time to make sure you have the full experience. Shampoo & style included.

We moved to San Marcos about six months ago and I needed to find a new place to get my haircut. I've been to Monroe's three times and it's fantastic! Brittany and Julia have both cut my hair and they are wonderful- I'm getting pixie cuts now (of varying lengths) and both stylists are actually better than "safe" bets- I've never had better pixie cuts in my life, way better than the place I used to go to in Houston. What I really love is that my hair looks great even as it's growing out which has NEVER happened before. I normally had about 3-4 great weeks then my hair became frizzy, bushy and generally crazy looking. Anyway, it's great having two ladies I can trust to have an awesome cut but honestly I'd be comfortable with all of the ladies that work here. I love that I can make an appointment online at my convenience as well because I go anywhere from 6-9 weeks between cuts. You can't go wrong here- Monroe's is definitely my hair salon now.

We are located on the square in San Marcos, Texas. We’re downtown in the heart of the city, across from the court house on Hopkins Street and walking distance to Texas State University. The salon is open from 10am – 6pm Monday through Saturday.
