We moved to San Marcos about six months ago and I needed to find a new place to get my haircut. I've been to Monroe's three times and it's fantastic! Brittany and Julia have both cut my hair and they are wonderful- I'm getting pixie cuts now (of varying lengths) and both stylists are actually better than "safe" bets- I've never had better pixie cuts in my life, way better than the place I used to go to in Houston. What I really love is that my hair looks great even as it's growing out which has NEVER happened before. I normally had about 3-4 great weeks then my hair became frizzy, bushy and generally crazy looking. Anyway, it's great having two ladies I can trust to have an awesome cut but honestly I'd be comfortable with all of the ladies that work here. I love that I can make an appointment online at my convenience as well because I go anywhere from 6-9 weeks between cuts. You can't go wrong here- Monroe's is definitely my hair salon now.

My daughter and I had a mommy and me day for Mother’s Day. We really enjoyed our experience at the salon. Friendly greeting and lots of fun conversation and laughs. We were very pleased with our hair-dos and will be back!

I had my hair cut and layered beautifully by Shawna. She did an absolutely phenomenal job, and I couldn’t be happier with my hair now! I have curly/wavy hair, so she definitely knows how to cut and style! 10/10 recommend this place, especially Shawna!
